What's Where? or Where's What?, no matter what you call it, it means that there is a fun contest taking place at the Oxford Memorial Library during the month of October. Local, award-winning, childrens' author/illustrator, Suzanne Bloom, visited the library on October 6th to promote her newest book, Feeding Friendsies. The program was a huge hit with children of all ages, many even went home with personalized, autographed copies of some of Suzanne's books. If you missed this program don't despair, Suzanne has helped the library put together a special, fun for all ages, scavenger hunt contest. Everyone is invited to stop by the library and pick up an entry page and check out the display case, featuring items found in many of Suzanne's books. Your job is to match up what item is found in what book (hint: some make an appearance in more than one, and, yes, we do have books on display for searching), enter the name of the item next to the correct book on the entry form, and return the form to the library by NOVEMBER 14th. We will award prizes for entries with the most correct. A child and teen winner will be chosen. Call the library at 843-6146 for further information.
